iTunes is a place for people to download all their music, movies, pictures, itouch/iphone apps, and apple tv. The iTunes Store is open literally 24/7. Its a place where you can purchase songs if you don't want to purchase the entire album and if you want to you can purchase the entire album. You can buy games, music, movies, songs, podcasts, and apps. There are a variety of items that are free every week and every tuesday there is a new free music download.


You can also give iTunes as gifts. In convenicene stores, drug stores, grocery stores, and even some clothes stores like Target and Walmart, sell iTunes cards. There is a variety of price choices ranging from $5 to $100. You can give then as gifts or purchase them for your own personal use. When you enter the iTunes store, on the top right hand side of your screen you will see a Redeem Card under Quick Links.



With the latest iTunes page (iTunes 8) there is a new feature called Genius. This feature is posted on the right side of the iTunes screen and what it does is when you select a song on your play list, the Genius feature will provide a list of recommended songs that you might be interested because it relates to your selected songs genre. The songs recommended will feature a variety of artists a well as other songs performed by you selected song. It’s a great feature that helps you find new music that fits accommodations.

If you are interested in rearranging the way your playlists are set up (ex) like having the list set up alphabetically by song, alphabeticallyby artists, album,etc all you have to do is click the name of that tab (song, artist,album,etc) and that will set up your list.

What's a really great aspect about iTunes is that it offers songs that you can download by American Idol contestants.
